Use this section to understand the configurable branch settings that control planning behavior, resource visibility, and work order display rules.
Branch preference settings

Working days: Define which days work can occur for the selected branch.

Default settings: Apply branch defaults when user-specific preferences are not configured.

Work order statuses: Select the JD Edwards statuses to display for the branch.

Work order types: Filter by types such as corrective, safety, or preventative work orders.

Asset identifier: Choose how assets display, such as asset number, unit number, or serial number.

Category codes: Display selected JD Edwards category codes on work orders.

Planning resource types: Configure resource types such as assignee, supervisor, crew, or craft.

Assignments: Enable assignment functionality when assignable resources should be used.

Copy to Default: Optionally apply settings as the default for all users assigned to that branch.
