Edit a Gateway

Purpose

Open a gateway to review its details and update editable properties.

Before you begin

  • You have access to the Cantara Administration Console.

  • You have permission to manage gateways.

  • The gateway you want to edit already exists.

Procedure

To edit a gateway:

  1. Select Gateways under COMPONENTS in the main navigation menu.

  2. Select the appropriate Namespace from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select the gateway you want to edit.

The selected gateway details are displayed. Fields marked (Read only) cannot be edited; all other fields can be updated as required.

Field

Description

Name

Name of the gateway.

Prefix

Prefix assigned to the gateway.

Description

Description of the gateway.

Namespace ID

Unique identifier for the namespace. (Read only)

  1. Update the editable fields as required.

    • Save — Apply and save any updates made.

    • Undo Changes — Revert any unsaved changes back to the last saved state.

    • Cancel — Exit without saving.
