Before initiating RAPS for an Asset it is necessary to define:

• Cycle Types, with attributes for the Meters to be managed and how they are to be managed for Services used 
• Cycle Steps for the Cycle Types, identifying the sequence of Services and the Meter increments between them
• Associations between Service Types used in different Cycle Types
• Hierarchies for analysis of the rules Cycle Type and Model Work Order allocations
• Rules for Cycle Type selection by Asset attributes
• Rules for Model Work Order selection by Service Type and Asset attributes
• F1207 table trigger
