Oracle JDE Connection Files

The JDE Connection Files must be installed to each Cantara Agent Server if utilized, otherwise they should be installed to each Cantara Access Server. The files are:

• jas.ini
• jdbj.ini
• jdelog.properties
• tnsnames.ora

These files are required if your deployment will be utilizing the Data Access Driver. Of these, the tnsnames.ora file is only required if you will be utilizing an Oracle database. The files can be sourced from your JD Edwards Enterprise server.

To install the library files on the Agent Server(s) - if utilized:

• During installation of your Agent server, you will be prompted to copy the JDE Connection files into the etc subfolder of your extracted Agent archive.

Otherwise, to install the library files on the Access Server(s):

• Copy the JDE Connection files to the access/etc subfolder of the Cantara Installation Component Folders.
